EMPLOYEE INTERVIEWS
M. (After-Sales Service Management Section)
-What was the deciding factor in your decision to join ID Home?
I was originally attracted to the lasting impact of working in housing—a profession that quite literally shapes the landscape.
At the time, the company was rapidly expanding, and I received a direct scouting email with the message, “Let’s grow together.” That was my first encounter with ID Home.
Eighteen years later, I still take great pride in my role of responsibly safeguarding our customers’ homes.
-Could you tell us about your current role and responsibilities?
As the Manager of the After-Sales Service Section, I oversee all aspects of after-sales service operations.
Specifically, my main duties include overseeing service implementation, developing and proposing solutions for issues or inquiries received from area representatives, and establishing service manuals and systems.
Furthermore, managing the entire division and mentoring my staff are also critical parts of my role.
-What is the most rewarding or interesting aspect of your current responsibilities?
I find fulfillment in leveraging my experience to help our area representatives overcome difficult challenges. The greatest reward for me is seeing a problem that was too challenging for a single representative brought to a resolution, and then seeing that representative receive thanks from the customer.
I also feel a strong sense of achievement seeing my team’s growth directly lead to improved service quality across the organization.
-What was the deciding factor in your decision to join ID Home?
In addition to the opportunity to work in housing—a field deeply connected to people’s lives—I was also drawn to ID Home’s corporate culture.
There is a progressive culture where everyone can proactively take on challenges, regardless of age or background, and where the company actively supports the growth of each individual. I was convinced that here, I could leverage my experience while continuing to grow, and that’s what convinced me to join the company.
-Could you tell us about your current role and responsibilities?
Currently, as a member of the HR team, I oversee the entire cycle of talent management, from acquisition to development and retention. This primarily involves recruiting new graduates and mid-career professionals, coordinating follow-up with new hires before onboarding, and conducting training for new graduates.
What I find most rewarding about my work is being able to support each employee’s growth.
-What is the most rewarding or interesting aspect of your current responsibilities?
The greatest appeal is undoubtedly the ability to be directly involved in others’ growth.
It brings me immense joy to see individuals I first met during the recruiting process join the company, and then, after completing training and receiving daily support, begin to thrive in their roles.
I find great fulfillment and excitement in this work—the chance to grow alongside the people I support.

-What was the deciding factor in your decision to join ID Home?
The primary reason I was attracted to ID Home was the stability of Iida Group, Japan’s leading housing group, coupled with the company’s commitment to pursuing high-quality home building within that structure.
I found great appeal in a career focused on bringing happiness to customers by delivering quality and affordability, rather than just selling houses.
-Could you tell us about your current role and responsibilities?
I am primarily in charge of new graduate recruitment, focusing on finding future colleagues who will lead our company forward. My responsibilities include running information sessions and internships, as well as organizing events such as informal gatherings for prospective employees, offer acceptance ceremony, and the official entrance ceremony.
This job is about “sharing what makes ID Home an inspiring place to work and connecting that effort directly to the company’s growth.
-What is the most rewarding or interesting aspect of your current responsibilities?
The most rewarding aspect is the opportunity to interact with many students with great potential. I am personally inspired by their passion, and it is a great pleasure to to see their growth firsthand throughout the selection process.
I am already looking forward to seeing them thrive and succeed after they join the company.
-What was the deciding factor in your decision to join ID Home?
I chose to join because I was confident that ID Home offered numerous opportunities and a a supportive environment for growth.
When I attended the company information session in 2018, I heard from HR that “ID Home provides a field where even those with limited professional experience can excel, and career advancement is swift.”
Some new graduates had achieved promotion every year and even become store managers. That convinced me that ID Home truly values ability over seniority—and that was what attracted me most.
-Could you tell us about your current role and responsibilities?
My primary responsibilities in General Affairs include coordinating preparations for new store openings and relocations, as well as managing office fixtures, signage, and travel arrangements for our branches.
For new store preparations, in addition to purchasing items and arranging moving services, I handle official paperwork and coordinate schedules with both internal and external stakeholders. Although fixture and signage management are related to new openings, I am also frequently tasked with arranging repairs for wear, damage, and deterioration during regular operations.
-What is the most rewarding or interesting aspect of your current responsibilities?
Regarding new store openings, I feel a great sense of fulfillment when the project proceeds exactly according to the schedule I created and is completed without a hitch.
The new opening process is complex, involving meticulous arrangements for items and meticulous arrangements for supplies and official paperwork. A single delay in any part can postpone the entire schedule, making the job challenging. However, seeing the process go smoothly brings a sense of accomplishment and reassures me that my approach was right, which builds my self-confidence.
